I Have Been Discriminated
Against, Can Anyone Help Me?
Federal Laws Prohibit Employment Discrimination:
It is against the law to discriminate against an individual because of
birthplace, ancestry, culture, or linguistic characteristics. Title VII of
the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII), prohibits employment discrimination
based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin; the law which protects
men and women who perform substantially equal work in the same establishment
from sex-based wage discrimination.
You are encouraged to fight discrimination against you or against individuals
you know. The following community organizations would help you
if you are experiencing employment discrimination.
